How to take a taxi at the lowest possible price

Hi everyone, most people should have been attracted by my tweet...

Let's talk about two situations below.

Daily Commute#

Please download the DiDi app and find "Special Carpool" inside.

Find "Carpool Card" inside and purchase and activate it. The price for new users is about 5r/mo, but after activation, the price may increase to around 10r/mo.

The significance of this card is that you can enjoy the discounted price when there is no one to carpool with you. This price is usually 30% cheaper than normal taxi fares. In my case, with a starting price of 12, the carpool price is 8.99.

Then, search for "Consumption Vouchers" - "Travel" in Alipay. Generally, you can receive a 6r voucher and a 2r voucher without any conditions each week, which can be used for carpooling.

When purchasing the Carpool Card, you may occasionally be prompted to join a community. Choose to join, and inside, you can spend 2.9 to buy 5 vouchers worth 2 yuan each. On Wednesdays, you can also buy a 5 yuan voucher for 1.9 yuan (but this voucher cannot be used with the Carpool Card when there is no one to carpool with you). However, at this time, you can contact customer service. Last time, customer service compensated me with a 30 yuan voucher without any conditions because of this...)

Note: The Special Carpool function is only available in some cities, and the Carpool Card is only for designated routes!

Occasional Long-distance Travel#

It is not recommended to use DiDi for long-distance trips without vouchers. It is recommended to use Gaode (AMAP) instead.

First, click on Alipay - Travel - Ride-hailing. Usually, you will receive a coupon with varying amounts, and then use it to hail a ride within the Alipay mini program. (This price is usually cheaper than using the Gaode app)

Second, occasionally, there will be good coupons in the ride-hailing section of Gaode, and there is even a student coupon package that is very useful.

If you rarely take taxis and only occasionally need to, you can see various ride-hailing providers in the preview interface of Gaode ride-hailing, such as Cao Cao Travel, T3, etc. You can directly download the Cao Cao/T3 app and register an account. Usually, you will receive a very large amount of coupons, which can then be used in the app for discounted rides.
